Track record

Four engagements, what I did in each, and what came of it.

ZenithBloxChief Business Development Officer, founding team · Dec 2024 to now

The situationZenithBlox builds a layer that checks compliance and governance before a cross-border trade transaction executes. It needed national trade platforms to adopt it, and had no relationships with any of them.

What I didI started with one integration, into IMDA's TradeTrust. I used that to open talks with Malaysia Blockchain Infrastructure (MBI), and completed that integration too. Only then did I propose a corridor between the two countries, and worked both sides through to agreement.

ResultAn LOI for a Singapore–Malaysia digital trade corridor, signed by SGTraDex and MBI.

BillonGrowth Partner and Advisor, APAC · 2021–23

The situationBillon builds enterprise DLT for regulated payments and document exchange. It had no presence with regulators or banks in Asia.

What I didI ran Billon's commercial effort across APAC. When the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub, the Reserve Bank of India's innovation arm, set up a project on an interoperable DLT platform for Indian banking, I researched what it needed, positioned Billon for it and managed the engagement end to end, including the partnership angle with FIS.

ResultProof of concept of Billon Unified Enterprise DLT completed, June to July 2022, with a certificate from RBIH.

VisionKraft and Billon announced their APAC partnership in June 2021.

NPCI InternationalCountry Manager, Singapore · 2024–25

The situationUPI's cross-border linkage with Singapore's PayNow was live. More banks were joining, and merchant acceptance needed reach.

What I didI coordinated stakeholders on both sides of the UPI–PayNow linkage, including DBS, and engaged with MAS. On the merchant side, I drove reach through existing acceptance partners NETS and Liquid Group.

ScopeBoth sides of a live bilateral payments linkage between India and Singapore, plus merchant distribution through partners.

SplytBusiness Lead, Growth and Partnerships, APAC · 2022–23

The situationSplyt lets payment and lifestyle apps offer mobility services through one integration. It needed large consumer platforms in new markets.

What I didCovering APAC from Singapore, I built new partner relationships, mainly in India and the Middle East, and took partnerships with three large Indian consumer platforms to agreed terms.

ResultProjected at roughly US$3–5M in annual GMV. Splyt was acquired before the partnerships were formalised.
